The ETHP4 is a four-channel dry contact relay
interface board designed for use with DDC systems that do not have
‘on-board’ relay output.
The ETHP4 is ideal for use as an interface to heat pumps or other loads that
require a dry contact output. The board may be used with controllers that
offer 24VAC (triac) or 10VDC analog outputs.
The ETHP4 was designed to interface DDC controllers
without relay outputs to devices that require switching via a dry contact.
The ETHP4 features four output channels (isolated from both the input and
each other). Each output functions as a N.O. dry contact relay rated up to
1A @ 60V (AC/DC).
The relays may be used for direct switching of low voltage AC or DC loads
(up to 1A), or as pilot relays providing three-way isolation.
On board headers allow for jumpering the contacts to provide excitation to
“wet” the relay outputs via only one power supply wire (ideal for heat pump
control).
The board features a 5.08mm vertical connector that plugs directly onto a
wide variety of DDC systems. On board snubbing circuitry protects the relays
from EMF. The ETHP4 inputs may be triggered by 24V AC triac outputs, or 10V
DC analog outputs.
