ETEA1 - Analog Output Control / Actuator Interface
Application: The ETEA1 interface adds full Hand-Off-Auto control features to any generic analog output point. Although designed for electric actuators the ETEA1 board may be used to enhance control of any analog signal. The board is ideal for interfacing remote HVAC equipment that may require local manual override (i.e roof top units, dampers, etc.) Position of the override switch may be remotely monitored by a separate DI point. Product Description: The ETEA1 single channel board provides additional control for an analog output signal. The board is equipped with a DPDT switch that allows for manual output override by a single turn trim pot, mounted on the board. In 'Auto' position the output signal directly follows the input. The output is buffered by an unity-gain op-amp. The output status is indicated by a yellow LED. Another LED (red) indicates any 'abnormal' switch position such as 'Manual' or 'Off'. The auxiliary contact of the switch is used to provide its status information via an opto-coupler. The opto-coupler is activated (closed) only in 'Auto' position. The LED indication plus the switch position monitoring allow for easy remote diagnostics by either a separate DI point or a feedback from clients' maintenance personnel who may report the LED status. The board provides a 24 VAC fused power supply connection that may be used to power an electric actuator. This feature simplifies actuator wiring and commissioning. The board is equipped with angular connectors for fast and easy wiring. It mounts in a molded snap-track 2.75 " (70 mm) wide. Specifications:
